About Our School

SWARNA BIDYAPEETH, an Assamese and English, Both medium 10+2 Senior Secondary Co-education School, was established in the year 2020. The school is situated alongside the National Highway No. 37, at NCC Road, Dehajan, Demow Town in the district of Shivasagar, Assam.

SWARNA BIDYAPEETH is affiliated to Assam state school education board(ASSEB), Bamunimaidam, Guwahati-781021. As per NEW EDUCATION POLICY 2020, The school prepares students for HSLC Examination for Standard X and H.S. Final Examination for Standard XII (Science / Arts).

RULES OF PROMOTION

General Promotion Criteria

Promotion to the next higher class is granted on the basis of the aggregate performance of the child throughout the year, subject to regulations decided by the Examinations Committee.

Upper Primary & Secondary Sections

A student in Upper Primary and Secondary Sections is required to score a minimum of 40% in each subject and an aggregate percentage of 40% to qualify for promotion to the next standard.

Class XI Promotion Criteria

A student of Std. XI is required to score a minimum of 45% in each subject and an aggregate percentage of 45% to qualify for promotion to Std. XII.

English Subject Requirement

Qualifying marks in English is mandatory as per rule of the Board.

Attendance Requirement

An overall attendance of 75% is mandatory in an academic year in order to be promoted to the next higher standard.

School Authority's Rights

The School Authority reserves the Right to Promote a child to the next higher Standard on fulfilling the required/prescribed criteria.

Progress Report Requirements

Progress Reports must be checked and duly signed by the parents.

Rules & Admissions

Conduct & Discipline

  • It is important that students inculcate the value of discipline and it is expected that they abide by the Rules & Regulations and Code of Conduct.
  • A student found guilty of a serious offence or violation of Code of Conduct will undergo disciplinary action which may lead to suspension or expulsion from school.
  • The school authority reserves the right of disciplinary action after proper and thorough investigation of the facts and evidences. In such cases dues paid shall not be refunded.

Admissions

  • The Academic Session starts from April to March as per the norms formed by the ASSEB.
  • Admissions are given to students from Play-Group to Standards IX and XI.
  • Registration for Admission begins from November of each year/ current session for the subsequent session.
  • Registration form duly filled up by the applicant/parents has to be submitted at the school office along with the Registration Fee.
  • The School offers Remedial Teaching facility for slow learners and student.
  • The School reserves the Right to change its Admission Procedure periodically without any notice.

Documents Required During Admission

  1. Photocopy of Birth Certificate duly signed by parents.
  2. Original Birth Certificate for spot verification at the school office.
  3. Transfer Certificate in original.
  4. Aadhar card Photocopy of student and parents.
  5. Student's APPAR ID Number.

Withdrawals

  • Transfer Certificate will be issued after submission of Application duly signed by parents. Fees for the entire session has to be paid.
  • Parents need to submit in Written to the School Authority by the end of January of the current session if they wish to withdraw their wards in the next session.
  • The Decision of the School Authority in this regard is not open to question.

Fees Structure (Nursery to XI)

Rules and Regulations

  • The monthly fees are to be paid either quarterly / half yearly / Yearly.
  • Uniform, Text Books and Stationery will be provided by the school against one time payment at the beginning of session.
